He studied for 2 years under Devaraj Sandberg, the school’s founder, to gain his student facilitator qualfication, accredited by the IPHM. This style of Bioenergetics is rooted in the work of Wilhelm Reich, and Alexander Lowen with influences also coming from indigenous shamanic traditions and yoga among others. Reimagined for the modern world it is essentially a body based therapy that can be practiced in groups, one-to-one with a teacher, or even at home alone. It’s great for moving past anxiety, low mood, and stress. Using a combination of breath work, simple postures and dynamic, primal movements we feel deeply into our body, unblocking the emotional, mental and physical tensions that prevent us from moving forward in life.
